ghost box
Paranormal scanning device
A ghost box is a device used by paranormal investigators that rapidly scans radio frequencies, producing fragments of broadcast audio.
Believers claim spirits can manipulate these random snippets to form words or messages: We caught a voice on the ghost box saying "get out".
Also called a spirit box.
The device has no scientific credibility but features prominently in ghost-hunting television shows and amateur investigations.
