gentlelady
Woman of breeding
Gentlelady is a formal address for a woman, parallel to gentleman.
It appears almost exclusively in parliamentary contexts, where members address female colleagues as the gentlelady from California or I yield to the gentlelady.
Outside legislative chambers, the word sounds archaic or affected.
The natural feminine of gentleman in ordinary speech is gentlewoman, though even that is rare.
