gas leak
Invisible fuel escape
A gas leak is an unintended escape of natural gas, propane, or other fuel gas from pipes, appliances, or storage containers.
Gas leaks are dangerous—they can cause explosions, fires, or asphyxiation.
The telltale sign is often a sulfurous smell added to otherwise odorless fuel gas: We evacuated the building after someone reported a gas leak.
