frozen concentrate
Thaw before drinking
Frozen concentrate is a food product—typically juice—that has had most of its water removed and is then frozen for preservation and compact storage.
To use it, you add water back: Mix one can of frozen concentrate with three cans of water.
Orange juice is the most common form, though other juices and lemonade are sold this way.
The format was revolutionary for mid-20th-century households, making citrus available year-round.
