Where origami bends
Fold lines are marked or scored lines on paper, cardboard, or other materials indicating where to make a crease.
They appear on packaging templates, origami diagrams, sewing patterns, and printed materials designed for folding: Fold along the fold lines to assemble the box.
In technical drawings, fold lines may be dashed or dotted to distinguish them from cut lines.
