Easy-separation dotted marks
Tear lines are the perforated or scored lines on paper, packaging, or documents that allow clean separation by tearing.
They appear on checks, forms, tickets, and food packaging: Tear along the tear line to open.
In intelligence and military contexts, tear lines mark sections of classified documents that can be separated and shared at different security levels.
