floor scrubbing
Hands-and-knees cleaning
Floor scrubbing is the act of cleaning a floor by rubbing it vigorously, typically with a brush, mop, or scrubbing machine and water or cleaning solution.
The term suggests more intensive effort than ordinary mopping—getting down on hands and knees, working at stubborn grime: She spent the morning floor scrubbing in the kitchen.
