floggers
Those who lash
Floggers are implements used for striking, typically consisting of a handle with multiple tails or straps attached.
In BDSM contexts, floggers are common impact play tools, designed to deliver sensations ranging from soft thudding to sharp stinging depending on material and technique: leather floggers, suede floggers.
Historically, floggers were instruments of corporal punishment.
The word also means people who flog—whether literally beating someone or figuratively pushing something relentlessly: floggers of discredited theories.
