figure skating rink
Frozen performance venue
A figure skating rink is an ice surface designed for figure skating, with smooth ice maintained at temperatures slightly warmer than hockey rinks to allow blade edges to grip during jumps and spins.
The term also covers the enclosed facility housing such ice: We're meeting at the figure skating rink at noon.
