facial droop
Lopsided face muscles
Facial droop is a noticeable sagging or weakness on one side of the face, where muscles fail to hold their normal position.
It's a classic warning sign of stroke—the "F" in the FAST acronym for stroke recognition.
Facial droop can also result from Bell's palsy, nerve damage, or other conditions affecting facial muscles: The doctor noticed facial droop and immediately ordered a scan.
