facepalming
Hand covers forehead
Facepalming is the act of slapping or covering one's face with the palm of the hand, expressing frustration, embarrassment, or disbelief—typically at someone else's stupidity or one's own mistake.
The gesture became a popular internet meme, often captioned or referenced in text: I'm facepalming so hard right now.
The noun facepalm and verb facepalm are more common than this participial form.
