expeditor
One who hastens
An expeditor is someone who speeds things along—ensuring orders, shipments, or processes move through a system without delay.
In restaurants, the expeditor (or "expo") coordinates between kitchen and servers, checking that dishes are complete and sent to the right tables.
In manufacturing or logistics, expeditors track orders and resolve bottlenecks: The expeditor called the supplier about the late shipment.
Also spelled expediter.
