end zone dance
Scoring celebration routine
A celebratory display performed by a football player after scoring a touchdown, executed in the end zone.
End zone dances range from simple spike-and-point gestures to elaborate choreographed routines.
The NFL has periodically restricted them, but they remain a fixture of the game: His end zone dance drew a flag for excessive celebration.
