silly walk
Comically exaggerated stride
A silly walk is an exaggeratedly absurd or comically unnatural way of walking, with odd leg movements, exaggerated steps, or bizarre postures.
The term gained currency from the Monty Python sketch "The Ministry of Silly Walks," which depicted bureaucrats developing and evaluating ridiculous gaits as government business.
Now any theatrical, goofy walk qualifies: He did a silly walk across the parking lot to make the kids laugh.
