electronic systems
Powered technological networks
Electronic systems are interconnected assemblies of electronic components—circuits, processors, sensors, displays—designed to perform specific functions.
The term spans everything from simple alarm systems to complex aircraft avionics.
In military and aerospace contexts, electronic systems often refers to navigation, communication, and weapons guidance equipment: The fighter jet's electronic systems failed during the mission.
The phrase emphasizes integration: individual components working together as a unified whole.
