ear infections
Inner canal inflammations
Ear infections are bacterial or viral infections affecting the ear, most commonly the middle ear (otitis media).
They cause pain, fluid buildup, and sometimes fever or hearing problems.
Children get ear infections far more frequently than adults due to their smaller, more horizontal eustachian tubes.
The pediatrician said it's just an ear infection and prescribed antibiotics.
