Cop's equipment belt
A duty belt is a heavy, reinforced belt worn by police officers, security guards, and military personnel to carry equipment.
Unlike ordinary belts, it's designed to support the weight of a holstered firearm, handcuffs, radio, baton, pepper spray, and other tools of the job.
Also called a gun belt or service belt.
The officer's duty belt creaked as he shifted his weight.
