dried-out

Parched and withered

Dried-out describes something that has lost its moisture, often to the point of damage or uselessness: dried-out markers, dried-out skin.

It also describes a person who has completed treatment for alcohol addiction: He's been dried-out for six months now.

The hyphen distinguishes it from the verb phrase dry out.
