dream guide
Nocturnal vision escort
A dream guide is a figure encountered within a dream who seems to offer direction, wisdom, or assistance to the dreamer.
The concept appears in lucid dreaming practice, where practitioners actively seek out such figures for insight: I asked my dream guide what I should do about the job offer.
Dream guides may take various forms—strangers, animals, deceased relatives, or archetypal figures—and are interpreted differently across psychological and spiritual frameworks.
