drag marks
Pulled object evidence
Drag marks are the traces left when something heavy is pulled across a surface—scuff lines on a floor, grooves in dirt, or streaks through dust.
The term appears frequently in crime scene descriptions, where drag marks may indicate a body was moved: Police found drag marks leading from the bedroom to the garage.
Any surface that records the friction of something being dragged can show drag marks.
