dog fighting
Pit bull cruelty
Dog fighting is the blood sport of setting dogs against each other in a pit, typically with spectators betting on the outcome.
The dogs—usually pit bulls or similar breeds—are bred and trained to fight, often to the death or until one can no longer continue.
Dog fighting is illegal throughout the United States and many other countries, classified as a felony due to the severe animal cruelty involved.
He was arrested on dog fighting charges after police raided his property.
