direct flights
No layover trips
Direct flights are flights between two cities without a change of aircraft, though they may include intermediate stops.
The term is often confused with nonstop, which means no stops at all.
A direct flight from New York to Los Angeles might land in Denver but passengers remain on the same plane: I booked a direct flight, but it still stops in Dallas.
