direct access
Straight to source
Direct access means the ability to reach something immediately without going through intermediate steps or channels.
In computing, direct access (or random access) lets you retrieve data from any location on a storage device without reading through everything before it—contrast with sequential access on tape drives.
More broadly, having direct access to someone means you can contact them without intermediaries: She has direct access to the CEO.
