design competition
Architects vie here
A design competition is a contest where architects, designers, or creative teams submit proposals for a project, with winners selected by judges or public vote.
Competitions may award prizes, commissions, or both: The city held a design competition for the new public library.
They're common for landmark buildings, monuments, and public spaces where fresh ideas are valued over established relationships.
