dental sedation
Calming for extractions
Dental sedation is the use of medication to calm patients or reduce consciousness during dental procedures.
It ranges from mild sedation (nitrous oxide, oral sedatives) to deep sedation or general anesthesia for complex procedures or severe dental anxiety: I opted for dental sedation because I can't stand the sound of the drill.
