delivery order
Request for shipped goods
A delivery order is a document authorizing the release of goods from a warehouse, ship, or other storage facility to a specified recipient.
In shipping and logistics, it instructs the holder of cargo to hand it over to the party named on the order: The freight forwarder issued a delivery order for the containers.
In restaurants and retail, a delivery order is simply an order to be delivered rather than picked up: I placed a delivery order for Thai food.
