deacidified
Had acid removed
Deacidified describes something that has had its acid removed or neutralized.
The term appears most often in paper conservation, where acidic paper is chemically treated to prevent deterioration: The library's deacidified manuscripts will last centuries longer.
Wine and coffee may also be deacidified to reduce sharpness or stomach irritation.
