curbstomp
Pavement-assisted head trauma
Curbstomp (also curb stomp) is an act of extreme violence in which a victim is forced to bite a curb or pavement edge while the attacker stomps on the back of their head.
The term gained notoriety from a brutal scene in the 1998 film *American History X*.
In figurative use, curbstomp means to defeat or destroy utterly and mercilessly: Our team got curbstomped in the playoffs.
