ctrl-z

Keyboard mistake eraser

Ctrl-z is the keyboard shortcut for undo on Windows and Linux systems, reversing the most recent action in software applications.

The command has become cultural shorthand for wishing you could reverse a mistake in real life: I said something stupid—wish I could ctrl-z that conversation.

The Mac equivalent is command-z.
