ctrl-v

Keyboard paste command

Ctrl-v is the standard keyboard shortcut for paste on Windows and Linux systems, inserting previously copied or cut content at the cursor position.

The command is so ubiquitous that "ctrl-v" has become shorthand for pasting itself: Just ctrl-v it into the document.

The Mac equivalent uses Command-v.
