ctrl-c
Keyboard copy command
Ctrl-C is the keyboard shortcut for copying selected content to the clipboard on Windows and Linux systems.
The command duplicates text, images, or files so they can be pasted elsewhere with Ctrl-V.
In command-line interfaces, Ctrl-C instead sends an interrupt signal that terminates a running process: The script was stuck, so I hit Ctrl-C.
Mac uses Command-C for copying.
