cross-shot
Oblique camera angle
A cross-shot is a camera angle or photograph taken from the side rather than head-on, often capturing a subject in profile or at an oblique angle.
In film and television, cross-shots typically alternate between two speakers during dialogue, showing each from the opposite side: The director used cross-shots to build tension between the characters.
