corncribs
Slatted grain bins
Corncribs are slatted structures for storing and drying ears of corn.
The narrow gaps between boards allow air to circulate while keeping out animals.
Traditional corncribs are raised off the ground on posts, often with metal guards to deter rodents.
Once common on American farms, they've largely been replaced by modern grain bins.
