corn feeder

A corn feeder is a device that dispenses corn for animals—typically wildlife like deer, squirrels, or game birds, or livestock such as chickens and hogs.

Hunters use automatic corn feeders to attract deer to specific locations: He set up the corn feeder a month before hunting season.

Designs range from simple gravity-fed tubes to programmable units with timers and spinning plates that scatter corn at set intervals.
