constructibility

Able to construct

Constructibility is the quality of being able to be constructed.

In geometry, it refers to shapes that can be drawn using only a compass and straightedge: the constructibility of a regular heptagon was disproven.

In set theory and logic, constructibility describes sets that can be built through a specific hierarchy of definable operations.

More generally, it addresses whether something can feasibly be built: Engineers questioned the constructibility of the architect's vision.
