Dental resin restoration
A composite filling is a tooth-colored dental restoration made from a mixture of plastic resin and fine glass particles.
Unlike silver amalgam fillings, composites bond directly to tooth structure and blend visually with natural teeth: The dentist recommended a composite filling for my front tooth.
Also called a white filling or tooth-colored filling.
