comedy channel
Laughs on TV
A comedy channel is a television network or online platform dedicated primarily to humorous content—sitcoms, stand-up specials, sketch shows, and comedic films.
The term extends to YouTube channels and streaming services focused on comedy: I've been binge-watching that comedy channel all weekend.
In casual use, calling something a comedy channel can be dismissive, suggesting it shouldn't be taken seriously: Congress has become a comedy channel.
