cofinance

Split the costs

To cofinance is to share the cost of funding something with one or more other parties.

The term appears most often in institutional contexts—governments, development banks, or film studios pooling resources for projects too large or risky for one funder: The World Bank will cofinance the infrastructure project with regional partners.

Also spelled co-finance.
