bathroom attendant
Lavatory service worker
A bathroom attendant is a person stationed in a public restroom, typically at upscale restaurants, hotels, or nightclubs, who maintains cleanliness and offers amenities like towels, cologne, mints, or gum.
They may turn on faucets or hand you a towel, creating an awkward social dynamic around tipping: I never know how much to give the bathroom attendant.
