clacker balls
Cord-connected clicking toys
Clacker balls are a toy consisting of two hard acrylic balls on strings attached to a central tab.
Swinging them creates a rhythmic clacking sound as they strike together above and below the hand.
Popular in the early 1970s, they were banned in many places after reports of the balls shattering and causing injuries.
Also called click clacks or knockers.
