cider mill
Orchard processing facility
A cider mill is a facility or device for pressing apples to extract their juice for cider.
Traditional cider mills use a grinding mechanism to crush apples into pulp, then a press to squeeze out the liquid.
In American usage, cider mills are often seasonal attractions where visitors can watch the process and buy fresh cider: We took the kids to the cider mill in October.
