chill-out

Take it easy

Chill-out describes music, spaces, or activities designed for relaxation after intense experiences—especially the comedown rooms at dance clubs where people recover from hours of high-energy dancing: the chill-out lounge, chill-out music.

The term emerged from rave culture in the late 1980s.

As a verb phrase, to chill out means to calm down or relax: Just chill out, it's not a big deal.
