Animated person blueprint
A character model is a three-dimensional digital representation of a figure in video games, animation, or film—the visual asset that gets rigged and animated to move on screen.
The term also refers to someone whose traits or behavior serve as a template for fictional characters: She used her grandmother as a character model for the protagonist.
In tabletop gaming, character model sometimes means a miniature figure representing a player's character.
