celeste

Pale azure hue

Celeste is a light sky-blue color, from the Italian word for heavenly or celestial.

The celeste is also a keyboard instrument with hammers that strike metal plates, producing a delicate, bell-like tone: The celeste gives "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" its ethereal quality.

The instrument is sometimes called a celesta.
