catmints
Aromatic garden perennials
Catmints are plants of the genus *Nepeta*, aromatic herbs in the mint family with spikes of blue, purple, or white flowers.
The best-known species is catnip, which produces a euphoric response in many cats.
Gardeners grow catmints as ornamentals and to attract pollinators: The catmints along the walkway were buzzing with bees.
