cashew nuts
Curved tropical seeds
Cashew nuts are the kidney-shaped seeds of a tropical tree, eaten roasted or raw.
They grow attached to the bottom of cashew apples—fleshy fruits that are edible but rarely exported.
Cashews are popular in snacking, baking, and Asian cooking, and can be processed into cashew butter or cashew milk.
The stir-fry was topped with cashew nuts.
