cargo carriers

Goods transport vehicles

Cargo carriers are devices or vehicles designed to transport goods.

The term most commonly refers to rooftop boxes or hitch-mounted containers that attach to personal vehicles for extra storage during travel: We strapped the camping gear into the cargo carrier.

It also applies broadly to freight trucks, shipping vessels, or aircraft designed primarily for hauling goods rather than passengers.
