A car hauler is a large truck or trailer designed to transport multiple vehicles at once, commonly seen moving new cars from factories to dealerships or used cars to auctions.

The term also applies to the driver who operates such a rig: He's been a car hauler for twenty years.

Smaller car haulers—single-vehicle trailers—are used to tow cars behind RVs or to transport vehicles that can't be driven.
