callboards
Backstage announcement displays
Callboards are bulletin boards in theaters where notices, schedules, and cast information are posted.
Stage managers use them to communicate rehearsal times, costume fittings, and other production announcements: Check the callboard for tomorrow's schedule.
The term comes from the "call"—the time actors must report for work.
