bridal chorus
Aisle processional music
The bridal chorus is the wedding march from Wagner's opera *Lohengrin*, traditionally played as the bride walks down the aisle.
Its opening notes—Here comes the bride—are instantly recognizable in Western culture.
The term sometimes refers generically to any processional music at a wedding ceremony.
